Traditional Henna Care Instructions
1. Wait for the henna design to fully dry. Do not allow it to get wet and/or come in contact with other items (including clothing) as it will stain & smear the design
2. Suggested time would be to try and keep the crust on your skin for as long as possible (preferably overnight). Mixture of 1 tsp lemon juice + ½ tsp sugar can be added gently to design using cotton ball
3. If keeping overnight – a cotton sock is often the best way to maintain the integrity of the design during sleep as well as a cleaner way to catch crusted excess and soak any moisture or sweat throughout the night
4. The longer the design is kept away from water, the darker your color can be expected to turn out. Design will be bright orange at first and then gradually darken to brown. Henna stains take 48 hours to develop
NOTE: Use of hand sanitizer and/or excessive hand washing will change the chemical balance of the color and can encourage a shorter lifespan of the stain.
Rainbow-colored Henna Design Care Instructions
1. Be careful while it dries! Do not touch clothing or other areas of skin as color will stain
2. Allow design to fully dry (30-60 minutes depending on density)
3. Once dry, excess can be peeled off directly from skin (do not use water)
4. Protect henna design from water
Jagua Ink Tattoo Designs
Jagua comes from a natural plant source – a fruit from the Amazon, it works in a very similar way to Henna tattoos, Jagua stains only dead layers of skin, the stain can take 1-2 days to develop, but instead of brown/red colors (like henna) the outcome is black/blue colors.
Care Instructions:
1. Jagua ink requires 30 minutes to 1 hour for drying, the gel will dry flat, almost paper thin. Please try to remain still through the drying process, as to keep the design intact
2. After allowing the product to dry, keep the Jagua gel on skin for an extra 3-6 hours to allow the colors to settle
3. Wash Jagua off your skin with running warm water and soap after 3-6 hours

Care Instructions:
1. You can shower with Becoming Moonlight® patterns on your skin, but do not scrub them or vigorously rub dry
NOTE: This design will remain 3D until removed. Water can be used to wash away excess gilding powder that may have attached to moisturized skin.
